Earlier this week the production team working on the upcoming found footage film “Black Wake” released a new movie poster and second teaser trailer, revealing more tidbits about this much anticipated sci-fi thriller. Black Wake is set in the New York metropolitan area and follows the investigation of a “series of mysterious deaths along the East Coast of the US.”
The official Black Wake synopsis: “Specialists gather in a top-secret facility to investigate a series of strange deaths on the beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. One of the team’s scientists examines video evidence to uncover a possible parasitic explanation for the fatalities. . . Can [the scientist] convince her colleagues of the true danger before an ancient force rises from the sea to bring madness and death to all of humanity.”
The new movie poster reveals more sci-fi elements of the film, illustrating something not quite human. The second teaser trailer ramps up the energy and excitement in what is sizing up to be a thrill ride for found footage and sci-fi fans alike.
