The problem here is that the trailer and synopsis is for a US film of the same name released in 2018. The original Butterfly Kisses film from 2017 was first shown in 2016 and was made by a UK production house https://www.blueshadowsfilms.com/en/productions/features which we have not yet been able to identify a full release of other than at European Film Festivals
We noticed that earlier title when creating our database. That particular film isn’t found footage or documentary style (as you know).
One of my clients asked me to see if I can find a copy of the UK film which in theory was released on DVD back in 2017 but I’ve only found it for sale on a Pakistani site so far. I’m not happy that is a legitimate seller, but it is also due to appear on Flix Premiere apparently …
This appears to be the director’s Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/rafal.kapelinski
You can always message him and ask how to obtain a copy.
The film shown above is indeed the BUTTERFLY KISSES that I directed and that was released in 2018.
The UK film went into production at the same time with the same title, but it isn’t found footage.
Hope you guys do a review!
