German filmmaker Thomas Grieser is in the thick of production on his second found footage film, Pestilenz (a.k.a. Pestilence in English). Grieser’s latest creation concerns a small group of filmmakers who set out to film a documentary about a viral outbreak in a remote village.
Grieser’s first found footage film is Basement (2011), a German language found footage film about a man tormented by a paranormal entity residing in his basement.
With the production of Pestilenz in full swing, Grieser is proud to announce the release of the film’s first trailer. While Pestilenz will be shot in German language, the film will have English subtitles.
The trailer has narrative shot scenes, but director Thomas Grieser has assured us that the feature film will be pure found footage. The narrative shot scenes were added strictly for the movie trailer.
