This week, POV Horror is proud to announce three new films to their growing Found Footage Film VOD channel. The folks at Cryptic Pictures added the award-winning Mortal Remains (2017) to the POV Horror film catalog. This full-fledged faux-documentary features none other than The Blair Witch (1999) director Eduardo Sanchez!

Also featured this week is the release of The Rejected (2018), a POV Horror exclusive. Alien abduction found footage fans can watch this film on the Found Footage VOD Channel or on Amazon Video. The popular found footage Film The Jokesters (2015) is also available for a limited release on the Found Footage VOD Channel (in select regions).

Mortal Remains (2017) – Featured Film

Synopsis: Exploration of the life, brief career, and mysterious death of Maryland filmmaker Karl Atticus, referred to by some as the “godfather of the slasher film.” Features interviews with various historians and aficionados including The Blair Witch Project director, Eduardo Sanchez. The Jokesters (2015)

Synopsis: The Internet sensation, “Master Pranksters” decide to take it to the extreme for their season finale. When the leader of the group, Ethan, announces that he is getting married and leaving the gang and the pranks behind, the rest of the founding members decide to pull off one final stunt; a “Cabin in the Woods” nightmare on their friend’s honeymoon. What follows is a spiral decent into terror when the prank goes too far and the members of the group actually start dying. The victims and eventually the perpetrator are revealed one by one in this tension-filled “found footage” feature film.
